Cabinet & Drawer Safety Latches and Locks
You don't want your baby or child to open drawers and cabinets that may hold unsafe products and other items. Another consideration is keeping valuable items safe from your little one.
To keep your cabinet doors and drawers safely shut you have two options, an internal latch or an external locking device. There can be problems with either choice. The internal latches that are screwed or adhered to the inside of your cabinets and drawers can sometimes come loose over time and stop working. The exterior locks have to be removed and replaced each time you open your cabinet or drawer so you must be diligent about making sure they are in place. My personal choice was the internal latches because I just don't have the patience for an external lock that I have to mess with constantly. The internal cabinet and drawer latches worked just fine for me.
